Milk Report the Film

2025

Milk Report is a short film by artists and designers Conway & Young, produced as part of the Feed project.

Adapted from an original publication of the same name, it explores the politics and economics of care through the lens of feeding a baby, and the 720 hours Young spent doing so over a 6-month period. The 20 minute film focuses on the improvised, chaotic, interdependent and messy nature of reproductive labour.

The film premiered at Woodend Gallery in Scarborough in March 2025, as part of Scarborough Film Festival, and was shown at Perspectives Gallery at Virginia Tech University in the US, as part of the m(other)ing exhibition.

The next screening of Milk Report will take place at 11am on Wed 6th August at Chapter Arts, Cardiff, followed by a Q&A with the artists.
